A crisis in the monarchy as a royal prince wants to marry the divorcee with whom he’s been carrying on an adulterous aff air.
Can the royal family survive?

No, not events of the past decade or so, but those leading up to the Edward VIII’s Abdication in 1936.

As current now, as it was then, based on real events, a story of a King's struggle between true love and loyalty to the crown, which divided the nation.
