The TD Halifax Jazz Festival (HJF) is proud to unveil its expansive free programming for the 2025 festival with the support of Support 4 Culture. Offering a majority-free experience to the community, this year 70% of the festival’s events are free, featuring dozens of local and Canadian artists.
In partnership with Halifax Public Libraries and the National Arts Centre, this year’s Creative Music Series and Jazz Labs offer a deep dive into the artistry, experimentation, and education that live at the heart of the jazz tradition. These free concerts and workshops span five days at the Halifax Central Library and Alderney Gate.
