Contemporary Contemporary - a new music workshop

Join composer-tubist Hope Salmonson and the Chelsi Madonna School of Music for "Contemporary Contemporary," a workshop removing barriers that stop people from exploring contemporary music.

Bring your instrument (or voice) and a music stand, learn how to make new sounds, and join in some group improvisation. We will also be working with a text score by Eris DeJarnett and some open scores by Jordan Nobles.

All instrumentalists and vocalists welcome! As long as you can read sheet music (whether in choirs, jazz/concert bands, orchestras, etc), you can play contemporary music! Tickets are available for $15.00+tax. Thank you!
