A Family Storytime with Daniel Salmieri & Sophia Haas

Join New York City author and illustrators Daniel Salmieri and Sophia Haas for a reading of their new picture book Next to Me.

After the event, Daniel and Sophia will hand out - What's Next To You? A Neighbourhood Scavenger Hunt that families can do on their way home.

Next to Me is a joyful and soothing read-aloud, about noticing all the wonderful things around you.

A walk home from school is an opportunity to observe all the happy details along the way: puffy clouds next to an airplane, the twisty slide next to swinging swings, a backhoe next to a big hole.
