Join us every Monday to play Heroscape!!
Fee for non-members: $10 (Members play for free)
Drinks & snacks are on the house for all of our players.
20% off any/all Heroscape purchases.
Format: 400 Points + 4 glyphs
Maps will consist of 2 spawn pads (7-hex pieces) plus 2 terrain primitives (more on primitive building below).
Players will roll for initiative. The player who wins the initiative roll will get to decide if they will set up the map or if they will take the initiative in the first round of play.
Player "A" will shape the world using the two primitives provided by the players, butting them up to each other in an interesting manner to create a fun play environment.
Player "B" will place the two spawn pads anywhere along the perimeter of the map as well as randomly placing the glyphs, face down on the map.
Player "A" will get to dictate where each player will get each spawn pad.
Player "B" will have the initiative in the first round of play.
Game Length: Approximately 45 minutes per game will allow for players to pair up against 3 different opponents each evening.
We should be able to get 3 rounds of solid play in within the 3 hour window.
PRIMATIVE BUILDING
A terrain primitive is made up of two 24 hex pieces put together in a specific manner (see first comment below) to create a piece of terrain that will be placed adjacent to another primitive to create the game map. On top of the primitive base, you can add any terrain features you like. You should build a piece of terrain that will be make for a fun game experience for both players. These are casual competitive games... not so competitive that you should build a piece of terrain that will hinder your opponent as much as possible.
DEPLOYMENT/SPAWNING
Units always deploy on the player's spawn pad during the unit's initiative and move off the pad to make room for future units to deploy.
Glyph effects will use the rules provided in the current master set.
I can't wait to see what everybody brings! This is going to be fun!!!
