Drumming in community can be a most grounding and healing form of meditation. It is so wonderful to get out of the head space and drop into the heart space while connecting with others. No drumming experience is necessary to participate and enjoy the benefits of drumming together. Benefits such as stress reduction, increased sense of well-being and happiness, enhanced concentration, strengthened immune system, refined physical coordination and neuroplasticity, and increased feelings of self-worth and belonging.
Please join us, enjoy the connection, and the feeling of joy and peace. All levels of drummers, (yes, even absolute beginners) participate in drum circles, and every person’s contribution is perfect. If you are new to drumming, this will be a wonderful opportunity for you to learn the basics and gain the confidence to join the many drum circles that meet regularly in our area. If you have a drum or shakers, please bring. If not, there will be plenty of drums and percussion toys for you to use. All ages are welcome. See you there!
