The holiday season is often described as joyful and bright, but for many, it can also be a time marked by grief, loneliness, stress, or simply the exhaustion that comes with the fast-paced weeks before Christmas. In response, Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Parish will host Quiet Christmas, a gentle, prayerful gathering designed to offer peace and comfort to anyone who may be struggling during the holidays.
Quiet Christmas will feature scripture, prayer, and meditative music—creating a calm and welcoming space for reflection. This one-hour service is open to anyone of any faith background who may benefit from stepping away from the noise and demands of the season.
“Not everyone experiences Christmas with ease,” the parish shared. “Quiet Christmas is our way of offering a space to breathe, rest, and encounter the comforting presence of the Christ Child as we approach the celebration of His birth.”
