Join Us for Dinner, Fellowship, and Faith this Advent Season!
We invite all Christians in the community to the "Hope for the Season: An Ecumenical Advent Series," hosted by the Pleasure Island Ministerial Association. This is a unique opportunity to share a meal, connect with fellow disciples from different traditions, and deepen your spiritual preparation for Christmas.
What to Expect
Each evening begins with a communal dinner and is followed by an engaging discussion led by an expert speaker or panel.
Featuring The Rev. Dr. Joy Blaylock Dr. Blaylock brings her expertise in interfaith dialogue across Methodist, Jesuit, Lutheran, and Episcopalian traditions to guide our journey.
Series Schedule (5:30 PM Dinner Start)
December 4: The Incarnation (Led by Dr. Blaylock)
December 11: Living Faith, Present and Future (Panel Discussion with local leaders)
December 18: Christian Hope and Expectation (Led by Dr. Blaylock)
Dinner & RSVP Information
Dinner is complimentary and will be served potluck style. It is generously provided by parishioners from the participating churches.
