Welcome to our Table

This summer, we’re pulling up chairs and laying out dishes for a truly special event.

Welcome To Our Table is a unique community project bringing together displaced and local young people from across Surrey to connect through food, stories and shared creativity.

Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors and presented in partnership with the brilliant Big Leaf Foundation and the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, this project explores the themes of displacement, family, and belonging, with hope and positivity. Together, participants are creating something powerful: a public celebration of community as a superpower.

This project blends food, storytelling and inclusion—three things that make us human. It’s about finding common ground and celebrating difference in a joyful, welcoming space.

Expect flavours from many kitchens and stories from many homes and come ready to be moved, inspired, and welcomed.

Join us for this one-night-only event. Share the food. Hear the voices. Share the space.

Tickets are by donation only, but must be booked in advance via our Box Office.
