Hands-On Nursing: Take Your Practical Skills Further

This course combines online learning, in-person lectures and practicals to improve your understanding of our Schedule Three guidelines so you can carry out relevant procedures with confidence.

On the day we will explain the guidance and answer any questions you have before letting you get hands-on, in three practical sessions. Using model and cadaver limbs you will perfect your critical care skills including inserting IV catheters, nasogastric tubing, administering nerve blocks and performing radiography. Brand new for this year, you will also get the chance to boost your confidence in belly bandaging, tie over dressings, shoe removal and head bandaging.
