Join Nature Guelph Wildflower Society on Tuesday September 16 for a presentation by Kaitlin Powers about plants, people and the benefits of spending time in Nature.
Kaitlin Powers has been said to live off of fresh air and sunshine. Her conventional education brought her to the University of Waterloo where she completed a Bachelors of Environmental Studies Degree and a diploma in Ecological Restoration. She is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and a horticultural therapy practitioner. She strives to facilitate self-awareness, peace and vitality through hatha yoga and the practice of the yoga sutras. Kaitlin is committed to helping people bring more nature, mindfulness, wellness, health, and vitality into their lives

Nature Guelph is an active community of nature lovers connecting people with nature and inspiring them to celebrate and protect it. We host monthly Speaker Series presentations, offer interest-specific programs for wildflower and bird lovers, lead outdoor events that celebrate our natural spaces, and offer educational and inspiring youth programs. We also partner with other local, like-minded organizations on a number of local conservation, citizen science and advocacy initiatives.
