Arboretum Odonate Count!

Join us for the first annual Arboretum Odonate Count on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 9 AM to 2 PM at the University of Guelph Arboretum.

We’ll begin with a short intro session at 9:00 AM covering how to take clear ID photos, use iNaturalist, and safely catch and handle dragonflies and damselflies. Participants will then be assigned areas within the Arboretum to survey and submit observations.

-Free to participate
-All ages welcome (children must be supervised)
-We’ll be using iNaturalist for reporting
-Happening rain or shine
-Bring water, food, sunscreen, bug spray, and a net if you have one (some will be available)
