2026年7月4日，美国将迎来一个历史性的里程碑——独立250周年纪念。这一重要时刻为我们提供了一个宝贵的契机，让我们重新审视美国的历史，欣赏国家的独特魅力，并重燃引领美国走向下一个250年的冒险精神与创新动力。On July 4, 2026, the United States will celebrate a historic milestone–250 years of American independence. This anniversary offers an opportunity to renew our appreciation for American history, reflect on the beauty of the nation, and rekindle the spirit of adventure and innovation that will guide the country into its next 250 years. 

 为纪念这一具有深远意义的时刻，美国驻广州总领事馆新闻与文化处将推出为期一年的系列讲座，每月举办一场，重点介绍塑造美国故事的人物、地点与理念。讲座内容将涵盖从自由与民主等建国理念，到各州的文化贡献、开拓者人物以及关键历史事件，旨在为中国观众提供更深入的视角，理解美国为何独特、坚韧并不断发展。 To mark this momentous occasion, PAS Guangzhou is proud to launch a yearlong, monthly lecture series highlighting the people, places, and principles that have shaped the American story. From the founding ideals of liberty and democracy to the cultural contributions of individual states, pioneering figures, and pivotal events, each session will provide Chinese audiences with deeper insight into what makes the United States unique, resilient, and ever evolving.  

通过对话、讲述与文化交流，我们希望致敬美国的过去，深入探讨当下，并激发一个以共同价值和相互理解为基础的未来。 Through dialogue, storytelling, and cultural exchange, we aim to honor America’s past, engage with its present, and inspire a future rooted in shared values and mutual understanding.

We will explore the historical context of 1776, the bold vision of the Founding Fathers, and the powerful ideals of liberty, equality, and self-governance enshrined in the Declaration. Discover how this revolutionary document not only laid the foundation for American democracy but also inspired global movements for freedom and justice. Whether you are interested in history, politics, or cross-cultural dialogue, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore the roots of American independence and its enduring legacy.
