Heartsaver First Aid CPR Class

Learn lifesaving skills in this blended American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course, designed for individuals with little or no healthcare background. The class combines first aid, CPR (adult, child, and infant), and AED training into one program.

The cost of the in-person portion is $35, which includes the certification card. A separate fee for the online portion is paid directly through the AHA site. Participants must complete the Heartsaver Total course online and bring a printed certificate of completion to the in-person session. No written test is required.

The class will be held at 201 East J Avenue, Grundy Center, IA. Please park in front of Entrance #3 on the west side of the building and wait inside the entrance area for your instructor.

Registration is due by December 2 to reserve your seat. Classes may be canceled if participation is low; you will be notified by December 3 if cancellation occurs. In the event of weather or emergency cancellation, participants will be contacted by 10:00 a.m. on the day of class.
