Beach Clean-up & Bonfire

This event has 2 parts— 2 birds with one stone! Feel free to participate in one or both :)

1) Beach Cleanup
Part of being a scout is serving, so the first part of this event will be a Beach cleanup. This can count as your Service project for this year! We will search for trash starting at 4pm for about 45 minutes. PARENTS: please talk to your children about potential dangers of trash pickups.

We will meet right at the on-ramp to drive onto the Grover Beach dunes, at the end of Grand adjacent to Fin's restaurant. We usually just walk right onto the beach and setup halfway to the water. It is not needed to drive onto the beach unless you really want to :)

BE SURE TO BRING:
• Gloves
• Trash Bag
• Trash picker-uppers (if you have one - they have them at the dollar store)
* Hat and sunscreen

2) Beach Bonfire
Feel free to join us after the Cleanup and bring your own dinner and/or S'mores to roast over the fire!

Feel free to invite anyone interested in joining scouts!

BE SURE TO BRING:
• Bring your own drinks/dinner, please!
• Folding Chairs &/or Beach blankets for yourselves
• Sweatshirts for when it cools off
