Portrait Painting in Oil

Come learn to depict the face, from the underlying anatomy to the specifics of capturing likeness. The class will consist of instructor demonstrations, color studies, and detailed portrait studies. Each student will receive personalized instruction and critiques, working to expand their understanding of both human facial structures and the intricacies of oil painting. We will work efficiently, so students should be prepared to make mistakes and learn from them.
