Memoir Writing with Maura Casey

Join us for an enlightening conversation on the memoir genre and how you can start on yours. When journalist Maura Casey started to write her memoir, she thought it would be just another writing project, much like others in a 30+ year career at four newspapers. Maura will discuss the challenges and solutions she encountered while writing her book, “Saving Ellen: A Memoir of Hope and Recovery,” including some interesting advice from the creators of “South Park.” Copies will be available for purchase.
