Sherman + Schippert Exhibition

This compelling joint exhibition brings together the vibrant works of Will Schippert and Angelo Sherman—two artists whose journeys into art are as unique as their styles.

Will Schippert, a travel enthusiast deeply inspired by the Impressionist masters, captures the world through both oil painting and digitally transformed photography. His work pulses with color and emotion, blending a modern sensibility with the expressive brushwork of historical influences.

In contrast, Detroit-based Angelo Sherman forged his artistic path within the quiet halls of the Detroit Institute of Arts, where he worked as a security guard. Largely self-taught, Angelo spent his time studying and reinterpreting the techniques of the old masters. His pieces are rich with texture and motion, offering dynamic explorations of diverse subjects.

Together, their work creates a dialogue between tradition and innovation—between studied observation and spontaneous experience. Impressions in Motion invites viewers to explore the world through two distinct but harmoniously interwoven artistic lenses.
