Bicknell Lecture Series - Stained Glass in Grosse Pointe

Author, photographer, and architectural historian Dale A. Carlson was born and raised along the northeastern shores of Lake Michigan. Throughout the 1990s Mr. Carlson studied art, journalism, and graphic design at four Michigan universities, including Michigan State Univeristy, while simultaneously moving closer to Detroit. He is the author of three books: Corrado Parducci: A Field Guide to Detroit's Architectural Sculptor, Kahn's Detroit: A Field Guide to Alber Kahn Designs of the Metro Area; and Stained Glass New Orleans: A Field Guide. He is close to completing his latest book, related to Albert Kahn's 274 freehand drawings created in Europe between 1891 and 1927.
