THE SOLSTICE ENSEMBLE!

Musicale is excited to get the 2025-26 season underway with The Solstice Ensemble!

Five outstanding musicians from diverse backgrounds and places somehow crossed paths in Benzie County Michigan. Carolyn Edwards, violin; Ruth Griffioen, recorder; Carole Scott, flute; Peter Paolini, cello; and Doug Scott, keyboards, are the core of The Solstice Ensemble. They delight in exploring a wide variety of chamber music and are often joined by guest musicians such as Nancy Gruits, oboe for repertoire requiring other instruments. That is the case with the featured work on their program – Brandenburg Concerto #2 by J.S. Bach. Please join us to hear that gem of the chamber music repertoire, along with a wonderful variety of other works as we begin our 94th season on Friday October 10, 2025 at 1pm.
