Reiki is a pathway to enlightenment. Known best for helping people to relax and activate their healing potential, this course shares spiritual teachings with a modern twist to bring mental, physical and spiritual wellness to the 21st Century.
The practice of Reiki is divided into 5 parts:
- The Reiki Precepts - a code of conduct to live by
- Meditation - to develop self awareness and one pointed-ness
- Hands on Healing - to harmonise and heal the body, mind and spirit
- Symbols and Mantras - to develop focus and clear the body energetically
- Attunement/blessing - a ritual between student and teacher to awaken healing potential
There are 3 levels to Reiki, plus the option to go on and become a teacher. Each level is a 2 day course, followed by self practice and the submission of case studies (if desired to practice professionally).
This course - Level 1 - Shoden - will teach you all you need to know to be able to have an established meditation practice, conduct a full treatment on yourself, friends and family and develop your healing abilities through ongoing support. The course will be completed over 6 weeks, giving participants the opportunity to build up their practice over a period of time, ask questions and gain a solid understanding of the techniques involved.
Every student interested in learning is recommended to have a treatment with me first to enable us to get to know each other, see that we are a good fit and so I can understand your challenges prior to learning. Becci has been a Reiki Master Teacher since 2014, firstly teaching western Reiki and more recently switching to a more traditional Japanese practice. Teaching Reiki to students is one of her favourite activities as it empowers an individual to take positive action to support their health and wellbeing and be a positive contributor in society. She welcomes students from all walks of life, as well as those wishing to repeat this level and develop their practice further.
