We’re calling on all UiA BSc, MSc, and PhD students from every discipline to take part in an exciting 2-day Innovation Challenge on August 22nd–23rd, 2025.
Your mission: Develop innovative, nature-inclusive concepts for floating offshore wind.
Challenge Focus Areas:
Mitigating Measures – Reduce or prevent negative environmental impacts
Nature-inclusive designs – Enhance or restore marine biodiversity.
Work in interdisciplinary teams, guided by experts from NiD4OCEAN (UiA, NIVA, DTU-Aqua, and Equinor).
Free meals and inter-campus transport will be provided throughout the event.

Participants can continue developing their ideas through the “Students in Research” courses (e.g. BYG314).
