Garba workshop

With navratri nearly upon us, we are all excited to get into the spirit of things and would like to open the doors of our community centre for a Garba workshop on Sunday, 21st of September, 4pm-6pm.

Garba and dandiya are a folk dance form originating from the state of Gujarat. The festival of Navratri is celebrated across nine consecutive nights when people come together to dance this beautiful dance together to symbolise Krishna dancing with his Gopis.

Everyone is welcome to come along and learn this beautiful Indian dance form. Light refreshments will be available.
