About the event

Flag Retirement Ceremony

Johnston Boy Scout Troop 44 will conduct a flag retirement ceremony to properly dispose of flags that have been brought to the drop box.

The event will take place this evening, July 16, at the Grimes Public Works Department, 1700 SE Destination Dr., Grimes, at 7:00 p.m. Worn-out flags may be left at the flag box or brought to the event. The flag drop box is located behind Station 39 at 6373 Merle Hay Road, Johnston.
