Petals, Pollinators & Purpose Workshop

Interactive workshop exploring how native plants support vital pollinators-like bees and butterflies-and why restoring native habitats matters. Teach participants how to identify native species, build a pollinator-friendly garden, and even raise butterflies or provide shelter for native bees. Participants will:
Gain an understanding of how climate change directly impacts pollinators and overall ecosystem health.
Discover key native plants in their region. Understand pollinator life cycles and relationships with plants.
Learn how to create a small native plant starter garden or pollinator home.
Get take-home resources to continue their habitat mission.
Workshop concludes with the planting of pollinators in the Grifton community.
