Remember when you were a little kid, you'd lie on the grass, looking up into the sky filled with clouds? All of sudden, a cloud would float by, and you'd say:
"That cloud looks like a dog.”
“And that one looks like a dinosaur!"
Or you'd look at the bark on a tree, and think to yourself that it looks like a face. Well, it's time to bring back that imagination for our next show at Wildrose Brewing-PAREIDOLIA.
Pareidolia is a phenomenon where individuals perceive familiar patterns or objects in random stimuli. Essentially, the brain is "filling in the blanks" to create a recognizable image or shape from something that is ambiguous or random.
And we want to see what your brain comes up with for this show.
Here are some important details to remember -
An artist is allowed to submit up to 3 pieces, which must be correctly labeled. All pieces must be wired (preferably 1/3 of the way from the top), and the smaller dimension cannot be less than 8".
All submitted images must be correctly labeled, ex. yourlastname.title.jpg.
You must rename your digital image. We cannot accept just a copy/paste of the title when you email the images.

Dates to remember
•Submissions are due by midnight, July 6th
•Acceptance emails will be sent out on or before July 10th
•Dropoff at Wildrose is from July 13th to 17th
