3 Steps for Life is a FREE CPR and AED awareness session.

It's designed to give you the confidence to act when someone suffers a cardiac arrest by, calling 111, starting CPR and using an AED.

Each year, more than 2,500 New Zealanders experience a cardiac arrest
(heart stoppage) outside of hospital and most of these happen at home.
Performing CPR and using an AED is easy, and doing so early can increase
the chance of survival by more than 44%. For every minute without CPR or
defibrillation, a person’s chance of survival drops by 10–15%. See less
