Exploring the Nature Economy: Opportunities for Business and Community

Join Zak Shaw, Development West Coast's (DWC) Nature Economy Project (NEP) Lead as he shares all about the NEP.

Launched in June 2022, DWC's Nature Economy Project (NEP) is driving conservation, biodiversity, and predator-free mahi across the West Coast rohe.

In this online session, Zak will share real-world examples of how the NEP is partnering with businesses, trusts, iwi, landowners, education providers, and community groups to: strengthen the ecological health of the region’s natural assets; grow local skills and knowledge; and support the wellbeing and resilience of rural communities.
