For a lot of us, this can be a painful time of the year. Some of us are facing a first Christmas without a loved one, a time when memories and nostalgia turn on us, when a certain song or ornament might send us into a tailspin of grief. Some of us have lost jobs or received a hard diagnosis, and this time seems to punctuate all we’ve lost or might lose.

There’s not much room in our culture to hold the difficult and complicated feelings this holiday season can bring, so we are creating that space at St. Luke’s.
