“RECON” at Grenada Lake
This RECON event will be an EARLY season trail cleanup and ride at Grenada Lake. On this ride we will be on a mission exploring and cleaning limbs and brush from the trails and enjoying riding the area. These trails are ridden by locals a good bit; however, from year-to-year trail conditions can change and it is a good idea to check things out, explore new places, and see what is accessible. We may not be able to access some trails due to logging operations in the area.
Itinerary:
Meet up for ride:
9:30 am Saturday and Sunday at the Grenada Walmart
Head to the trail area 10:am
Once we arrive at the trail we will have a quick debriefing and put together the final details of attacking the trails.

Our main route will be Hwy 8 to Scenic Route 333. We will cross the Grenada dam and access Hwy7 to Coffeeville, MS. Then from Coffeeville we will take 330 and continue traveling a few county roads to the staging area. We will be running GMRS channel 20
The area we will be riding/working in offers acres of different terrains and venues. From sandy beaches to twisting woods trails in the hills and hollows. Caution is advised if you have never ridden this type of area before. Staying on the trail and with the group is highly recommended.
