This session will be a full overview of how to do busines with the state of California. Learn about the benefits of becoming a state certified small business so you can sell your products and services to the state.

4 :00 p.m.: OUTSMART Disaster - Preparedness for Small Businesses, Presented by the

Outsmart Disaster is a statewide campaign led by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies. Outsmart Disaster equips California businesses and nonprofits with the training and resources they need to prepare for and recover from all types of business interruptions.

What will be covered?

Business Resillency Roadmap : a guide for small business owners that directs them on specific actions they can take to build resiliency within their business and develop their own custom-tailored Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Disaster Rescources: information and tools you need to prepare for and recover from a disaster or significant business interruption.
