12th Annual Take Flight 5k and 1 Mile Race

Walk or run...this race is just fun. The flattest and most unique race in the Upstate. Sign up as teams, run in costumes, or work on your personal records. Costumes and team participation is encouraged. No pets allowed.

The 12th Annual Take Flight 5k fundraiser is back. We are continuing to raise money for swings and shaded seating areas. We are about 1/2 to our goal of adding a new playground structure too. Runway Park and the Greenville Downtown Airport is not funded by the city or state. The park was created by donations from the community and local businesses.
