Staff from the Pike County Conservation District (PCCD) and the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR) will be leading a guided hike to highlight the natural resources of Pike County.
We will be hiking the approximately 1-mile Little Falls trail at Promised Land State Park. This trail is relatively narrow and does have an uneven terrain with many rocks and tree roots. Interested participants should assess their own comfort level with these conditions before beginning. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and a passion for conservation!
"Hikes in Pike" is a series of 4 seasonal hikes, and anyone who completes all 4 hikes will receive a FREE "Hikes in Pike" Stoni patch! Anyone wishing to receive a patch at the end of the "Hikes in Pike" series MUST check in with District staff at each of the four hikes to track their attendance in order to be eligible to receive a patch at the end of the year.
Missed the first couple of hikes in the series? Don't worry, you can still join for this fall "Hike in Pike!" However, only those participants who complete all 4 hikes in the series will be eligible to receive the patch.
