John Stanley Noah, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on November 1, 2013, at the age of 74. He was born on February 15, 1939, in Laurel, Indiana, John was one of fifteen children of Earl and Elva (Throckmorton) Noah. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
John’s cremated remains will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Clarksburg, Indiana with Rev. John Johnson officiating. After, family and friends are invited join the family to share stories at a pitch-in dinner at Jacqueline’s cabin, 1200 NE Chippewa Trail, Greensburg, Indiana 47240 (Lake Santee). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veteran's charity of your choice in John's honor.
A dedicated and hardworking man, John owned and operated Noah’s Hardware Store in Clarksburg, Indiana, and also worked as an electrician. His strong work ethic was matched by his generosity—always willing to lend a hand to neighbors and friends alike.
John had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, hunting moose, and spending time on the ocean. His happiest moments were those shared with family, especially when they traveled to visit him in Florida. His stories, laughter, and welcoming spirit created memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Today his family includes his children: Jacqueline Coronado, Jill Noah, Jodie Siefert, Julie (Matt) Sprung, and Jeff Noah; grandchildren, Hoss (Sheila) Thackery, Natalie Schroeder, Nick (Leslie) Thackery, Jamie Noah and Erik (Alyssa) Siefert; great grandchildren; Jimmie Lynn Dommer, Michaela Schroeder, Austin Thackery, Emaly Thackery, Alyson (Colby) Bush, Cohen Thackery, Carmen Thackery, Corbin Thackery, Sage Noah, Emma Siefert and Graham Siefert; great great grandchildren, Harper Ruggles, Hoyt Ruggles and Wynonna Bush; brother, Donald (Sharon) Noah; and sisters, Julia Kays and Faye (Bill) Green.
