Stardust…Moonglow…Moonlight Serenade…When the slow swing tunes play, that is the perfect time for Slow Balboa. Inspired by the moves of the original Balboa set to slower music, this close embrace dance is like a cozy hug with a good friend.
In August, Elizabeth Watkins and Erik Tatsapaugh will be teaching a two-class progressive Introduction to Slow Balboa. This series will cover moving to slow music, Balboa close embrace connection, the basic Slow Balboa pattern, and a few simple moves/variations to get you started.
