Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Input Meeting - Greensboro

Guilford County is working with the City of Greensboro, other local jurisdictions, and community partners to update the Guilford County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The plan identifies and assesses the region's hazard risks for natural disasters and identifies strategies to minimize or manage those risks.

Residents are encouraged to attend the public input meeting on Thursday, August 14, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the NC Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center to discuss the Hazard Mitigation Plan. The meeting will be held in person, with an option for residents to participate virtually. Residents can register to attend the Greensboro meeting virtually by visiting guilfordcountync.gov/HazardMitigation

All Guilford County residents are also invited to complete the Hazard Mitigation Plan 2025 Survey to share their input and contribute to the planning effort. The survey is available online at guilfordcountync.gov/MitigationSurvey through Sunday, August 31.
