CQ Gravel Series Race 1 * Powered by Giant Rockhampton

The 2025 CQ Gravel Series Rd 1 is co-hosted by Rockhampton MTB and Rockhampton Cycling Club on Sunday 27th April. This event will feature a Graded Scratch Race.

A & B Grade 62km Male, Female, 17y+
C Grade 36km Male, Female, 13y+
D Grade 20km Male, Female, 11y+

IMPORTANT: All Junior (U15 & U17) competitors in the event MUST have a chaperone ride with them at all times. Please highlight chaperone details in the comments section of your entry

Grading and Average Speed Estimates
A Grade - 62km Avg speed between 32kph – 40kph
B Grade - 62km Avg speed between 29kph – 33kph
C Grade - 36km Avg speed between 26kph – 30kph
D Grade - 20km Avg speed between 18kph – 26kph

8.00 - 8.25am Race number collection & Sign in
8.30am Compulsory Race Briefing all events
8.45am Race start A Grade
8:50am Race start B Grade
8:55am Race start C Grade
9:00am Race start D Grade

IMPORTANT: All competitors must be at the event hub and attend the race briefing prior to the first wave of riders leaving to ensure that no unnecessary traffic is present on the race course
