Story Circles - August's prompt: What's on your mind?

A monthly conversation circle sharing our stories.

August's prompt will be simply "What's on your mind?" No specific prompt this month.

Our format: We use a "speaking stone," so that each person gets our full attention while they are speaking and is not interrupted. The stone is passed from one to another until everyone has had an opportunity to speak at least once; then is passed to whomever feels the impulse to add to the conversation. After we've shared this way for another round or two, the stone is put aside and the conversation ends some times in less structured, informal conversation and sometimes with a structured closure contribution from each person (for example, a one or two-word check in as we conclude).

This recurring event will be updated with the new theme each month.
