Understanding and Preventing Polysubstance Use Among Youth:Strategies for a Healthier Future. Polysubstance use among youth—combining or alternating multiple substances—presents unique and complex challenges for prevention and intervention efforts.This workshop dives into the multifaceted factors driving youth toward polysubstance use, including social pressures, mental health struggles, andevolving trends in substance availability. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the risks and patterns associated with this behavior, as well as its impact on developing brains and long-term outcomes.
