This event is a exhibition kickball game between members of the Prince George's County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Prince George's County to bring awareness to domestic violence.
The event will include a collection of sweatsuits to donate to the University of Maryland Hospital's Domestic Violence and Sexual Assual Division. Often, domestic violence survivors/victims who are seen at the hospital have their clothes collected by law enforcement for evidence. The sweatsuits will be distributed to survivors to wear after being discharged from the hospital.
This family friendly event is open to the public and will also feature a shaved ice truck.
