Join us every Tuesday at 6:00 this summer for another season of Tuesday Night Rides!
Our routes are staying the same, but we're mixing it up a bit this year in order to keep our B group more social and encourage faster riders to try out the A group. The A and B groups will ride the course in opposite directions on alternate weeks, and the A group will now ride neutral on the way out of town to help keep riders in the group.
Head to the shop around 5:45 so youre ready to roll by 6:00. We’ll split into A, B, and C groups before departing.
The C group averages 14-16 mph over about 20 miles (with a shorter cutoff available) and will regroup at various points mid-ride. This is a strictly no-drop (no rider left behind) group. All bikes are welcome, including road bikes, fat bikes, hybrids, and e-bikes.
The B group rides a bit longer to Bayshore park and back (about 25 miles) and averages anywhere from 18-20 mph. We'll work to keep the group together, and will regroup after any faster sections. Open to all bikes, but in this group you'll have an easier time on a road, touring, or gravel bike. If you really want to flex, step up to the A group!
The A group covers about 35 miles, taking a longer route to Bayshore park and averages 22+ mph. This is a much more spirited group, and a great chance to test your fitness.
All groups meet back at the shop around 7:30 for post-ride beverages and socializing.
As always, please observe the rules of the road during this ride. Stop at intersections, be courteous to motorists, communicate with other riders, and be aware! No bluetooth speakers or headphones are allowed on the ride. If you have aero bars, please refrain from using them while in the group.
Junior riders are welcome, helmets are a must, and smiles are mandatory. See you soon!
