On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Green Bay Area Public School District is hosting a Science Curriculum Community Showcase, during which local community members and families in the district will have the opportunity to share their feedback regarding two high quality instructional materials under consideration for our middle school science program: OpenSci Ed (OSE) and Science Education for Public Understanding Program (SEPUP).
This event will offer attendees the opportunity to explore both programs, engage with sample lessons, and hear directly from specialists about how each option supports hands-on learning, critical thinking, and scientific literacy.

5:30 - 5:45 p.m. - Opening Remarks - Room 138 A
5:45 - 6:25 p.m. - Presentation 1: OpenSci Ed (OSE): Room 138 A (30 minute presentation then 10 minutes for questions then a 5 minute transition)
6:30 p.m. - 7:10 p.m. - Presentation 2: Science Education for Public Understanding Program (SEPUP): Room 138 B (30 minute presentation then 10 minutes for questions)
