For too many dogs and cats in shelters, the clock is working against them — and when time runs out, the outcome is something none of us want to imagine.

But together, we can change that.

Hour of Love is HEA’s biggest and most mission-critical event of the year—and it’s powered by you: individuals, families, businesses, and groups who come together to give time, raise funds, and spread awareness.

What started in response to a heartbreaking statistic—150 dogs and cats being euthanized every hour in U.S. shelters (2018)—has become a powerful, community-led movement to rewrite the story.

Participants will enjoy one-on-one time with adoptable dogs and cats — and receive tools to help amplify their impact through personal fundraising pages and social sharing.
