Community Q&A: Green Bank WiFi

The U.S. NSF Green Bank Observatory is entering a new era for the “Quiet Zone”— allowing the use of WiFi (only at 2.4 GHz) at the Green Bank Elementary-Middle School, which sits next door to the NSF Green Bank Telescope.

WiFi at 2.4GHz will now be permitted for use by the school and other residents in the 10-mile radius. Guidance will be available for how to set-up WiFi routers to operate at this specific frequency.

Join Green Bank Observatory Director Anthony Remijan and News Manager Jill Malusky for a presentation and Q&A about this change.
