Open House: Seeking Feedback on Red Barn at Signature Bluff Master Plan

The Poudre River Trail Corridor, a local non-profit organization, is working on a Master Plan for the Signature Bluff Natural Area around the Red Barn along the Poudre River Trail at 71st Avenue in Greeley. We want your input!

In 2024 we added the Lockhart Memorial Granary (silo) shade structure and picnic table and in 2025 we added an ADA accessible sidewalk. What else would you like to see: a covered patio on the side of the barn, an outdoor natural discovery / play area, storytelling about the history of the area? We what to hear your ideas and get your feedback on our preliminary plans.

The concept plan will establish the future direction of the Red Barn exterior improvements and help the Poudre River Trail Board of Directors, with support from Greeley Natural Areas and Trails, develop a schedule and budget for new improvements. It will continue to be a natural area, a place to connect with nature or take that perfect picture, and a trailhead with parking lot for the community to access the Poudre River Trail and the Signature Bluff Natural Area.

This is one of two feedback sessions. If you cannot attend this session, there is another session on Friday, August 1st 9:00 AM until noon. Both session will be held at the Red Barn.
