Move-it Move-it Week: Yoga for Singers

Whether you are a star of the stage or a certified shower crooner, Yoga for Singers is for you! This workshop explores the relationship between breath, movement, and vocal tone. No experience is necessary in yoga or singing to reap benefits from this mindful practice. It is a whole body approach to vocal and mental wellness. All the poses are done seated or standing, and accessible to all ages and abilities. No rolling on the ground (or yoga pants!) required. Come with a singing heart!

Time: 1:30PM – 3:00PM
Cost: General Admission applies ($5/person, under age 5 FREE)
All are welcome

Presenter Bio :

Jacqueline Sadler

In a career spanning 25 years, Jacqueline has performed coast to coast, from multiple seasons with The Charlottetown Festival to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and everywhere in between. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in Voice Performance. Her very selected credits include: Rachel in Two Pianos, Four Hands; Soprano Soloist for oratorios; music festival adjudicator, choral conductor, and multi-instrumentalist, including a brief stint as Guinness World Record Holder in Church Organ Marathon. Speaking of marathons, Jacqueline is a long-distance runner, as well as a 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher. Jacqueline combines her passion for movement and her expertise in music in Yoga for Singers, a workshop for vocal health, mindfulness, and wellness.
