1:30 PM – DIY Musical Shakers
Kids and the young at heart can design their own sound makers—fill, decorate, and personalize shakers with stickers and acrylic pens. Once complete, use your custom shaker to “clap” along and cheer on the musician who follows!
2:00 PM – Jessica Wolowich in Concert
After our craft, we’ll welcome Jessica Wolowich to Macpherson House for an afternoon concert. Playing a mix of indie folk, rock, pop, and originals, this is a musical afternoon not to be missed!
Bring your imagination, your shaker, and settle in for a memorable musical experience by the river!
Time: 1:30PM
Cost: General Admission applies ($5/person, ages 5 and under FREE)
Pre-registration is not required. All are welcome! Please bring blankets or a lawn chair for seating.
Artist Bio:
Jessica Wolowich is a singer-songwriter based in Kingston, Ontario. Though she’s spent time playing in bands, her solo work takes a different path, favouring stripped-back instrumentals that emphasize her melodies and lyrics. In May 2024, she began her first summer of live music touring across Ontario, following the release of her debut single “Stay”. The year concluded with a collaboration with producer Jonas Bonnetta at Port William Sound to record her singles “Ashtray Whispers” and “This Is It”. Currently, she is working on new music and performing regularly around Kingston, while continuing to realize her sound.
