The Drowns aus Seattle beehren das Music-house mit ihrem neuen Album „Blacked Out“ – eine kraftvolle Mischung aus 50er-Jahre-Rock’n’Roll, 70er-Glam und klassischem Streetpunk. Produziert von Ted Hutt (Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly), zeigt das Album nicht nur musikalische Vielseitigkeit, sondern auch starkes Storytelling, besonders in Songs wie „1979 Trans Am“ und „The Way She Goes“.
The Drowns überzeugen immer mit energiegeladenen Liveshows und haben sich weltweit eine loyale Fanbase erspielt. Neu in der Band ist Gitarrist Christian Martucci (u.a. Corey Taylor, Stone Sour, Dee Dee Ramone), der für zusätzliche Gitarrenpower sorgt.
