Inspiriert von der Installation „Cabinet of the Wanderer“ von Vova Vorotniov, lädt diese Kohle-Zeichen-Session mit Laura Urdl zu einer kollaborativen Erfahrung ein. Im Zentrum dieser Übung steht das Material Holzkohle, dem in der aktuellen Ausstellung Grösstenteils Abgebaut eine vielschichtige Bedeutung zugeschrieben wird. Die TeilnehmerInnen porträtieren sich gegenseitig in der Durchdrucktechnik, ohne einen Überblick über den eigenen Zeichenprozess zu haben. Die Endergebnisse sind für alle gleichermaßen überraschend und repräsentieren die jeweilige Gruppe auf ausdrucksstarke Weise.

Inspired by the installation “Cabinet of the Wanderer” by Vova Vorotniov, this charcoal drawing session with Laura Urdl invites participants into a collaborative experience. At the centre of this exercise is the material charcoal, to which a multi-layered meaning is attributed in the current exhibition Mostly Mined Out. The participants portray each other using the print-through technique, without having an overall view of their own drawing process. The final results are equally surprising for everyone and represent the respective group in an expressive way.
