The Rise and Fall of Little Voice

Thurrock Courts Players presents their production of Little Voice.

Little Voice has a hidden talent: she can emulate every female star from Judy Garland to Shirley Bassey.

Hiding in her room, pining for her dead father, our introvert heroine plays his records at a volume matched only by the power of her vocal impressions.

While her selfish and neglectful mother mistakes a seedy agent's interest for affection, he is only using her to exploit her daughter’s talent for his own ends.

Originally starring Jane Horrocks as the unmistakable mimic, this is an engaging tale of despair, love and finally hope as LV finds a voice of her own.
